From Atlanta:
Take I-20 West to Thornton Road (Exit
44). Take a right (north) and travel
about 4.5 miles. Take a right on
Georgia 6 Spur (Westside Road) going
past the Norfolk-Southern Railway
Corporation Inter-modal facility. At
the 2nd traffic light, turn left
on Austell-Powder Springs Road. The
Threadmill Complex will be approximately
0.7 miles on the left.
From Kennesaw:
Take Barrett Parkway (it changes names
to West Cobb Parkway) to Powder Springs
Road (Highway 5). Take a right on Powder
Springs Road. At the 3rd traffic light,
turn left following Powder Spring Road
to scenic downtown Powder Springs.
Take a left at the first traffic light
onto Austell-Powder Springs Road and go
2 miles. The Threadmill Complex is on
the right.

From Interstate 285:
Take Interstate 20 West to the Thornton Road
exit (Exit 44). Turn right onto Thornton
Road. You will continue straight through
several traffic lights until you reach
Veterans Memorial Highway (formerly known as
Bankhead Highway). At this intersection,
you will see Waffle House to the left and
Arby's and SaveRite to the right. Continue
straight to the next traffic light. This
will be Humphries Hill Road/Pacific Avenue.
Turn right. Go to the one way stop sign at
National Envelope Corporation. Continue
straight down the hill. You will become
parallel with the railroad tracks. You will
top a small hill. At the top of this hill,
you will see Humphries Street to the left.
Turn left. Humphries Street will dead end
into Rolly Street. Turn left. Filter Plant
Road will be the first road to the right.
Turn right. The Austell Public Works is the
only business on this road.
From Austell Road
Take Austell Road, S.W. until it becomes
Maxham Road, S.W.. You will go over the
overpass. You will then take the
US-78/US-278/GA-5 ramp. At the traffic
light, turn left onto Veterans Memorial
Highway (formerly known as Bankhead
Highway). Continue straight until you have
gone through the third traffic light. At
the next intersection, turn right onto
Spring Street. Cross over the railroad
tracks and make an immediate left. Once you
have made the immediate left, you will make
an immediate right onto Rolly Street. At
the three way stop, continue straight.
Filter Plant Road will be the first road to
the right. Turn right. The Austell Public
Works is the only business on this road. |
