In our ongoing effort to provide the same quality service to all of our visitors, we are taking the necessary steps in making our web site accessible for individuals with disabilities. The ADA Guideline states that all information within a web site must be accessible to anyone, therefore we are currently undergoing the process of making sure all of our information is ADA compliant.
What this means is that our pages are being reworked to be more compatible with screen readers. To accomplish this, all images on our web site will be accompanied by a description (ALT tag) that will be visible if your browser supports the alt-text function.
We are also moving towards making all of our PDF files accessible to the visually impaired. Now, screen readers such JAWS for Windows and Window-Eyes are able to 'read' the PDF file and provide voice recognition. If for any reason the PDF files are not compatible with your screen reader, please email duane@austell.org or call (770) 944-4325. If a printed copy is available, one will be sent to you.
If there is a web page form that is not accessible to you, please call (770) 944-4325 to request a printed version.

All PDF files will be made accessible to screen readers using the new 'Make Accessible' feature within Adobe Acrobat.

Every graphic image shall have an "ALT" tag with a short description.

Hyperlink text shall contain descriptive words. Instead of 'click here' you will see 'click here to go to...'

All online forms will be accompanied by a telephone number you can call instead of filling out the form online.
