The mission of the
Austell Police Department is to provide fair and impartial law
enforcement to all citizens and visitors in the City of Austell
while providing professional law enforcement services. To
attain this, the Austell Police Department provides professional
up-to-date training for all employees and recognizes the
Constitutional Rights of all persons. This Agency acknowledges
that no Law Enforcement Agency can operated at it's maximum
potential without supportive input from the citizens it serves
and by having dedicated Officers who go beyond the call of duty
by involving themselves in community programs.
Our Department
The Austell Police
Department is made up of 32 employees. The are currently
12 Officers assigned to Patrol, with some Officers taking on
dual roles. Following are Officers that you may come in
contact with on a regular basis.

The Department
also consists of a Detention Center with 4 Jailers and a
Communication Center (911) with and Supervisor and 4 Communications/911 Operators.
The Police
Department operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our
department also, provides Mutual Aid to surrounding Law
Enforcement Agencies.
