Applications for Citizens Police Academy
Chief Bob Starrett has received requests
to teach a Citizens Police Academy. This would be taught at the Austell
Police Department during weeknights. The purpose of this class is to
teach Citizens about the working organization of Police work, especially
in their Community. After successfully completing the class,
participants will receive a Certificate, and will be allowed to
participate in some areas of Police work. Anyone interested should
contact Chief Bob Starrett or his Secretary Elaine Trout to sign up for
the class, at 770-732-3180, or stop by the Police Department to pick up
an application.
